This is an exciting 6 month internship post on a beautiful organic farm. In our busy peak season we need an enthusiastic intern to support the delivery of environmental education to visiting groups - mainly residential primary school children. You need to be able to engage and motivate children in a fun and educational way, be a team worker and be an outdoor person.
Magdalen is an excellent employer and likes to provide a stepping stone for interns to hone their skills, gain masses of experience and challenge themselves. We have had 3 interns in the past; one moved onto a teaching post, one into a PGCE course and last year's intern is now a new member of Magdalen's Learning and Wellbeing Team.
We will provide you with accommodation, all meals when on site, training in every educational activity and Safeguarding training. This is a chance to be part of a fun, dynamic, hard-working team that is fully committed to providing an excellent service to all visitors.
Please download our Information Pack and Application Form. CVs will not be accepted
The interview will be a discussion about relevant experiences, paid and voluntary work you have undertaken and what you would like to achieve from an internship. You will have the opportunity to see the accommodation, walk around the farm and meet some of Magdalen’s staff. It will also provide you with an opportunity to chat through any questions you might have. In total it will last for no more than two hours.
If you have any questions, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or if it’s too pressing for an Email, give us a call on 01460 30144.Back
