Families on the Farm - Craft Day - July

This activity day is open to families who have a child with learning difficulties or disability and is a great opportunity for mums, dads, brothers and sisters or indeed any family member to come along together and enjoy a fun time outdoors.   

We will start with a tour of the farm, but then gather materials on a scavenger hunt to create a craft momento of the day to take home.

The day is being supported by The National Lottery Community Fund and costs £7 per person (bursaries available) and includes all your activities and a tasty jacket potato lunch with a choice of fillings, followed by homemade cake with light refreshments.

On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs to help those less able to get around the farm along with a dedicated "Changing Place" (please bring your own hoist if required).  We will tailor the event to suit the needs of the individuals in the group so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you and your family may have.

Eligilbility - Open to families who have a child with a learning difficulty or disability - evidence may be required.  Each family is allowed 1 activity day and 1 sleepover per 6 month period (January to early August or mid August to December).
