Our 2 day Wild Wellbeing course is open to families living in Dorset.
Our free event is being held over 2 days, including a delicious home cooked lunch by our chefs.
Families will explore how, nature can help and improve wellbeing. With nature-themed activities out in the great outdoors.
The aim is to have a go at a range of activities that to get your family into the great outdoors. Learning how spending time outdoors can help to improve our physical and mental wellbeing, and gain a greater understanding of the wild world that surrounds us.
As well as meeting the animals, some of the things we might do include:
Bushcraft
Den building
Arts and Craft
Take away ideas for outdoor activities you can do with your family using everyday items.
This is a FREE event thanks largely to funding from our friends at Skills & Learning ACE, in order to take part you must live in Dorset, be able to attend both days and have not already taken part in a free Skills & Learning event with us this year.
To make this work, and help us learn how to develop Wild Wellbeing for the future, adults will be asked to complete some paperwork before, during and after the trip. We hope you don’t mind, and appreciate you giving up some time for form-filling in order for us to be able to provide this event.
On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able to get around the farm if needed.
