Bridgwater College Academy - Family Day

This activity day is open to families whose child recently stayed at Magdalen Farm on their school residential and is a great opportunity for mums, dads, brothers and sisters or indeed any family member to come along together and enjoy a fun time outdoors.   

We will start with a tour of the farm, feeding our chickens, pigs and goats before visiting our kitchen gardens to see where we grow our food. After a famous Magdalen lunch we will enjoy games on the farm as well as creating some wonderful craft momentos to take home at the end of the day.

The day is being supported by Somerset Skills & Learning and is FREE to your family - all you need to complete a small amount of paperwork which we will be on hand to help you with.  

On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs to help those less able to get around the farm along with a dedicated "Changing Place" (please bring your own hoist if required).We will tailor the event to suit the needs of the individuals in the group so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you and your family may have.
