Families on the Farm - Food on the Farm

Magdalen Farm 10am to 3pm 30th August 2022 - 30th August 2022

"Food on the Farm"   On this visit you will get a chance to pick and taste your own food, make fresh, delicious smoothies and your very own pizza in our giant pizza oven.

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Community Fund, Magdalen is pleased to offer a series of day visits for families with a child (under 20 years) who has a learning difficulty or disability . Families are eligible to attend one sleepover and one day visit every 6 months (January to June/July to December).

Our family days are a great opportunity for mums, dads, brothers and sisters or indeed any family member to come along together and enjoy a fun time together and with other families!

On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able to get around the farm along with a dedicated "Changing place" (please bring your own hoist if required).

We will tailor the event to suit the needs of the individuals in the group so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you and your family may have.

£11 per person including activities, lunch and refreshments.

Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.

We do have a small number of bursary assisted places available.  Please call 01460 30144 for further information on eligibility.
