Families on the Farm 1 Night Sleepover

Come and join us for our Families on the Farm Sleepover.  A special event specifically designed to give families with a child/young person (under 20 years) with learning difficulties or disability an opportunity to spend quality time together and meet others in similar situations.

Taking place at our beautiful farm, you will have the chance to explore the grounds, participate in activities such as arts and crafts workshops, outdoor activities, learning new skills and finding out about our environment from our knowledgeable staff.

Families will enjoy fun farm and nature based activities whilst socialising and creating friendships with other families.

Activity Information

You will have the opportunity to take part in activities around the farm which could include animal care, gardening, cookery, being creative and exploring nature.
Learning about the things around us and our environment in a fun and supportive way.

We will tailor the event to suit the needs of the individuals in the group so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you and your family may have.

Full details will be sent to you in advance of your visit.

Catering and Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided in our converted farm buildings with 1 room designated per family with shared bathroom facilities.

All meals will be provided – just let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements, we will be only too happy to accommodate.

We hope that families make the most of their stay and take the opportunity to relax and have fun in great company. To help create the atmosphere in the evening, we’ll provide a firepit, kindling, logs and cheese and biscuits.  A fridge will be available for you to bring your own drinks and snacks to enjoy around the campfire. Don’t forget your cards or games!

We have a list of shops, restaurants, takeaways and pubs so that you can pop out if wish to.  (Children will need to be supervised by a responsible adult).
