'Power Tools for Women' an event for Dorset residents aged 19 and over  

Are you interested in working with your hands, and creating wonderful things? 

Come along to our free two day course and enjoy a power tool workshop class with lunch included, where you’ll learn how to use a range of power tools safely for DIY & crafting!

Thursday 10th and 17th November from 9.30am – 2.15pm

Having the opportunity to use a drill, router, jigsaw, miter saw and circular saw and more, you’ll watch them in action, and learn safe use of the tools, including what the various switches & buttons on the machines do, ….before you have a go yourself and make something to take home!

Based in the workshop at Magdalen Farm, we're going to spend the day making things with wood, and using both high powered tools and more simple hand tools. We will provide googles and ear defenders etc, and help you use the workshop tools. You might already be skilled in the workshop, or you may never have picked up a screwdriver. It doesn't matter - this is open to anyone to have a go.
