Summer in Dorset Sleepover - River Splash and More 2

Come along and enjoy our Summer in Dorset events, enjoy a sleepover with fun farm and nature based activities together, exploring the countryside and learning new facts.

Summer in Dorset sleepovers are for low income families whose children are eligible for free school meals and have attended one of our previous Summer in Dorset day events.  

On this 'Rivers and more' themed event you will explore the great outdoors, and a safe area of the river axe and have fun in the woodlands.
Learn interesting facts about rivers, ponds and the wildlife and plants living there plus have a go at pond dipping and splash in the water.
Spend the evening around the campfire toasting marshmallow and making s'mores, having fun outdoors learning about our environment, meet the animals and help to feed them.
Enjoy finding out about some of the organic foods we grow and help collect delicious salad to go with your lunch which we will provide – just let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements, we will be only too happy to accommodate.

We will tailor the event to suit the needs of the individuals in the group so it is important you let us know in advance of any requirements you and your family may have.  
Please only book a room to accommodate your party size where available.

Full details will be sent to you in advance of your visit.
On-site we have 3 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able to get around the farm if necessary.

Magdalen is a working organic farm set in the glorious countryside of Dorset & Somerset.  At the heart of our farm is an education centre from which we offer activities with accommodation and delicious meals. Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.
